RareEarth Goes Non-Profit

With the new decision to go Non-Profit and join the North Okanagan Festival Society, it brings to possibility to receive government resources and funding. Kath Raeber has been the organizer and is excited to have Dawn Tyndall of Kiss FM to assist in moving the festival forward.
Part of the festival sponsors the annual “Our Kids Have Talent” contest. They provide a separate stage to perform on throughout the whole event.
The Rarearth Jazz and Blues Music Festival brings in well-known international artists from all over North America. Local artists also get an opportunity to participate in the entertainment which gives them great exposure. For this years festival they have received over 750,000 hits on You Tube with interest in both “Rarearth” and “Our Kids Have Talent”
This is a great example of Entertainment BC Interior for Canada and the Thompson Valley and Okanagan Valley.
